About Us
Since you are browsing my
website with the possible intent of making a purchase, I thought it was important
for you to know my customer/merchant philosophy.
As you might have already been able to figure out, I am a stickler for quality
and service. Call me crazy, but I feel that a person should get the most out
of each and every dollar they spend. We all work hard for our money and should
be treated with respect and kindness when we chose to spend it.
I guess this point is most
exemplified when I go to the supermarket. Ok, I know what you are thinking.
Dave has really blown his lid, what the hell does a supermarket have to do with
my philosophy? Read on o' cigar lover and you will see. How many times have
you had a really pleasant grocery experience? I don't think I ever have. Usually
problems start from the minute I get out of my car. I start to wonder if somebody
is going to push one of the hundred shopping carts in the lot into my car, leaving
a big dent. Once inside, none of the items have the correct prices on them,
the person in front of me has their weight in coupons, and the register breaks
just when I am next. Still at the end of it all I fork over my hard earned cash
and push my cart back to the car.
Why? Well I need food and
where else am I going to go? The store owner knows we will put up with just
about anything to get our groceries. So why should he care?
Well I hate to say it, but
I work just the opposite. I know there are plenty of places where you can buy
humidors. Some of them are online, some are mail order, some are even down the
street. I need you way more than you need me, and I never forget that! That
is why I offer so much more. I don't just sell a humidor and say goodbye. I
stand behind my products. If there is ever a problem, I am here to fix it. Why?
I do it because I want you to get the most value for your hard earned money.
This is how I want to be treated when I go out and spend my money, so why should
I give you anything less?
I started this business
in 1997 and it has grown each and every year. Still through it all I have tried
to be a merchant that customers can relate to. Maybe an item gets sent broken,
or a customer realizes a humidor is too big for them. No matter what the reason
is, I always try to satisfy. Now I am not perfect, far from it actually. I do
try my hardest but mistakes do happen. I hate making mistakes, but when they
happen I try my hardest to get them corrected quickly.
So take a look around the
site. I tried to give you as much information as possible on the topic of cigars
and humidors, etc. It is funny, my competition thinks this info is so good that
almost all of them have stolen it in one way or another for their own websites.
