I was a little disappointed with this product - just a few small things that added up to a lot of problems. First, the diameter of the product was too small to fit snugly in the opening in my humidor without the grommet, and too large with the rubber grommet that came with it, so it has a tendency to fall out. Secondly, the display is too dim to be seen without the use of a small flashlight, thirdly, I have had a very difficult time with calibrating it, and lastly, the thermometer reads about 10 degrees warmer than the actual ambient temperature in my house Other than that, it functions.

These are great hygrometers. I have three others by the same company but are the ones you mount inside your humidor. I tested it against one I had already calibrated using the salt test method and adjusted accordingly and It hasn't changed much in the last 24 hours compared to the hygrometer I used to calibrate it with other than the temperature is 1 degree lower, but that's to be expected and is in no way a deal breaker. Fits in the place my old analog hygrometer was and seats well in the hole. Battery life is anywhere from a year to maybe two years and should be re-calibrated no less than every year if you live in an area that the temps and humidity are stable, but living in KY, I have to re-calibrate at least every six months as the seasons change. An all around great product and helps to aid monitoring humidity levels of my cigars.
