Gentlemen, prepare your cigars! Super Bowl 50 is right around the corner! Although most athletes refrain from smoking, there are a handful of NFL stars that enjoy a fine cigar on occasion. After all, there is no better way to celebrate a Super Bowl win than by popping a bottle of champagne and lighting up your favorite cigar!

#5. Randy Moss
Former wide receiver Randy Moss is known for his lengthy list of records held in the NFL. If he didn’t play for your team then you probably didn’t like him, but there is no question about it he will forever be a legend. He is also known to indulge in a cigar on occasion. One of Randy’s favorite hobbies and ideal time to smoke a cigar of the field is while he is out fishing. Give him a travel humidor filled with his favorite cigars and a fishing pole and he is one happy dude.
#4. Terry Bradshaw
Winning four super bowl titles in six years, Terry Bradshaw could do whatever he wanted on or off the field as long as he kept dominating the league with the Steelers. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1989 after his first year of eligibility. Although Bradshaw never smoked before he playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers, he was known for sneaking cigars from Steelers owner Art Rooney and lighting them up while reviewing game film!
#3. Michael Strahan
NFL Hall of Famer Michael Strahan had a legendary career and a Super Bowl Championship with the New York Giants. He has also become one of the most respected and recognized figures on television. Michael is no stranger to smoking cigars. He believes that “cigars solicit conversation”. You see someone smoking a cigar and you feel instantly closer to them. There is no question about that! You may even see Michael at your local golf course smoking his preferred “light and sweet” cigars from his golf bag
#2. Chad Johnson
Chad “Ocho Cinco” Johnson seems to never leave home without a cigar in hand, or even a pack of cigars. You can usually catch him lounging out on Miami Beachsmoking cigars and drinking Cuban coffee enjoying life with a stranger. Cigar smoking has become a passion for Ocho Cinco after his retirement. He has even started his own cigar line with EIGHTY5 Cigars!
#1. Mike Ditka
It’s to no surprise Mike Ditka is number one on the list. It just wouldn’t be complete without this legend. Since arriving on the scene in the cigar industry, Mike Ditka has delivered popular limited edition lines including the Camacho Ditka Signature. One of Mike’s classic quotes while talking cigars was “there are no bad cigars.” Notorious for his hot temper, it is no shocker that he takes a load off by puffing away at a fat stogie on the regular.
