I think it is time that we recognize Tom Brady as the best quarterback outside of Joe Montana to ever play the game. If he wins the Superbowl this year, it will be hard pressed to say that he has not reached Joe’s greatness. Do you know that Brady has taken the Pats to the playoffs every year that he has been their starting QB except for his second season (10 out of 11 years – in 08 he had a knee injury that kept him out for the year), plus going to 5 Superbowls? Not bad for a 6th round draft pick that per all the experts was too small (skinny), not much of an athlete, no arm strength, and cannot throw a tight spiral. How stupid do those so called experts look now? There were 6 other QB’s taken ahead of Brady in 2000 draft, let’s see how that worked out for those teams:
18 Pick – New York Jets – Chad Pennington
65 Pick – San Francisco 49ers – Giovanni Carmazzi
75 Pick – Baltimore Ravens – Chris Redman
163 Pick – Pittsburgh Steelers – Tee Martin
168 Pick – New Orleans Saints – Marc Bulger
183 Pick – Cleveland Browns – Spergon Wynn
Chad Pennington had an Ok career taking the Jets and Dolphins to the playoffs. Marc Bulger had a few good seasons in St. Louis but unless you are a hard core football fan and followed college football and the draft you would never know the other 4 on this list. It still amazes me that there were 198 players better than Tom Brady in this draft according to people that get paid a lot of money to make those decisions. Even when Tom was at the University of Michigan his senior season they tried to give the starting QB to a freshmen named Drew Henson (take your time and look up that guy’s career).
Well my undefeated playoffs blew up in my face on Saturday. Outside of Baltimore who would have guessed the Ravens would go into Denver and beat the Broncos? I think Colin Kaepernick is still running wild on the Green Bay defense. Atlanta did their best to lose their game, but somehow pulled it out in the end. Last but not least Brady won again, surprise. I really think it is going to be their year (the Giants are not in the playoffs).

Looks like you under estimated the Ravens again. May I suggest nit doing that in the Super Bowl. Ravens by 7
Yea well I guess you cannot get them all right – I am a big Miami Hurricanes fan so I hope Ray Lewis goes out with a Ring.
