Hi I’m Kelly from CheapHumidors.com and this is the unboxing of the Concert by CAO. This is a Nicaraguan cigar and we are going to go through this and find out what the unpackaging is all about.
So here you can see this is a cardboard box. This is actually the first time I’ve done an unboxing of a cardboard box but rest assured I actually enjoy both different kinds and there are different things to do with both kinds of boxes. I also appreciate cardboard boxes because I feel like the manufacturer might be taking their money and spending it inside the package and isn’t that what we all care about the most.
This cardboard box is beautifully done and is obviously supposed to look like a guitar amp. It says CAO on the top, the levels do not go up to eleven in case you’re curious, and it also says Concert here.
So we’ll rotate it through, CAO on the side, a light bottom, and the other side.
On the bottom here you’ve got some stamps that feel engraved.
When you open it, it doesn’t have a hinge. Usually the cardboard ones don’t have any hinging; they use the sticker decal as the hinge.
It has the nice guitar going both ways and features the guitar pick design that they reuse on their cigar bands which is pretty cool.
They have cute sizing names on these. Sometimes I feel like that’s kind of cool when it goes with it. They have The Roadie, The Amp, and The Solo which kind of coordinates with the regular ones. Sometimes I think it gets a little pretentious but it’s cool when it goes with them and it’s not trying to make me pronounce words that I don’t know how to say.
This is a tribute to Nashville where their company started. Inside they have this hangtag. I feel terrible, one of my coworkers was opening this and thought they actually won a ticket for something because it does look like a backstage pass and it says Concert by CAO. It’s stuck in there pretty good. It takes a lot to get this off and it will drive you crazy and you will yank the snot out of it to get it off.
Inside here, we will check out one of the cigars. Because I hate to tell you, spoiler alert, I’ve gone all the way to the bottom and there is nothing there. There is nothing in between the layers, not stamped in the bottom, it’s white all the way at the bottom. So much for any surprises there. The end of the show is this teaser tag, the Willy Wonka ticket.
Let’s open one of these cigars up so you won’t cry. It’s actually a very pretty band. They’ve done a lot with a little. They actually only have a black ink and an embossing in the gold foil. It’s amazing that they were able to use just one ink and one foil and make it look so good.
The cigar has a barcode and everyone is individually wrapped and barcoded and it actually says CAO Concert and has the size right on it.
When we take it out, it’s a really pretty stick with a little bit of veining but it’s so mild and so smooth all the way around. It’s not those super deep veins that you see on some of these.
It has the dye cut with the guitar pick on it, and has the name embossed in gold all the way around to the back. Also, the cap looks like it’s put on very nicely.
This has a really good review. Kayla has actually reviewed this and said it was a wonderful smoke and she was super happy she got a chance to smoke it.
Each cigar band that they have done here matches their whole guitar theme. It is shown on the box, on the inside, on the band, and all over their website.
The country of origin is Nicaragua
The wrapper color is Rosado and the wrapper origin is Ecuadorian. The wrapper leaf type is Habano.
It’s really beautiful and has really great reviews. That’s what’s important to me, when they put the money in the stick and not in the packaging even though the packaging is my second favorite part.
This is Kelly with CheapHumidors.com and this was my unboxing of the CAO Concert.
I hope you enjoyed the review and if you have anything you want to request, if you have any cigar boxes you want unclothed, please leave a message and I will be glad to do it. Thank you.
