Latitude Zero Excursion Robusto (5.0″x 54)
Hi I’m Stephanie with CheapHumidors.com and today we’re back with another unboxing. Our box today is the Latitude Zero Excursion. It’s not really a box, as you can see, it’s more of a leather pouch or fanny-pack type of thing. There’s nothing on the sides, on the front they just have the Latitude Zero logo etched onto the leather, like I said nothing on the sides but the back has a little belt-loop and then it’s just fastened in the front.
So when you open it you see the bundle of the 12 Excursion cigars you would receive if you were to purchase “a box”. The Latitude Zero Excursion hails from Nicaragua and this is the Robusto size so it it’s 5 inches long with a 54 ring gauge. It has a very oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper that covers an Ecuadorian binder and a four-country blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan long-fillers. This blend creates a bold medium to full bodied cigar and the flavor notes you can expect are leather, earth, espresso, and chocolate. So this is going to be a very relaxing and blissful cigar experience if you smoke this stick. As far as the bands go, you have the standard Latitude Zero compass band at the top, with the slit in the middle, and then below it they have the Excursion band. So these are also some bands you would want to add to your collection as well. They’re both die-cut and embossed and they are lovely.
So that wraps it up for our unboxing today of the Latitude Zero Excursion. I know this unboxing was pretty short, sweet and simple but really what they’re going for is this leather pouch, that’s really their whole point of this. So it is reusable, you can attach it to your belt of just use it around the house to store things in and I think that’s a neat idea typically you just see the boxes and tins so this is a nice little twist on the classics. Let me know in the comments below if you’d like to see any unboxings in the future of any specific cigars. Also let me know if you’ve tried the Excursion before and I will see next week with Kayla’s review.Unboxing the Latitude Zero Excursion Robusto (5" x 54) by Stephanie Bolen
