The Unboxing the JFR Lunatic El Chiquito Gordo (4.75″ x 70)
Hi I’m Stephanie with CheapHumidors.com and today we’re back with another unboxing, our box today is the Romeo y Julieta Havoc. Our box today is the JFR Lunatic El Chiquito and this box is really nice, it’s just a standard wooden box but they definitely took their labeling serious. They have the JFR border label all around the box, that’s a continuing theme, and then they bring their giant Lunatic band down to the front of the box. Now on the lid of the box they have the JFR Lunatic El Chiquito logo, and then you see that they are advertizing that this cigar is indeed full bodied. You come down to the front you see the size and amount of El Chiquitos you will be receiving if you purchase a box and these cigars are 4 and 3/4 by 70. Then if you come along to the side you see that they continued their border decals and they have the logo also on the box. On the back they don’t have anything except the border and then on the side it’s the same as the other.
So let’s open it up and see what these little El Chiquitos look like. Alright once you open it you see that they continued their logo onto the lid of the box. Then you come down and you see the Lunatic cigars, very pretty, they hit you right when you open the box. You also will notice that they have a JFR Lunatic ribbon so you can easily remove the cigars. So Lunatic cigars hail from Nicaragua, it is the El chiquito size so that is a Gordo making it 4 and 3/4 inches long with a 70 ring gauge. It’s 70 ring gauge is complete with a very neat pig tail as well. The filler and binder are Nicaraguan long-fillers all wrapped up in a San Andres leaf. This big slow burning cigar is medium to full bodied even though they’re saying it’s more on the full bodied end of the flavor palette. So the notes of flavor you should expect, when smoking the JFR Lunatic, is some spice, pepper, earthy notes, coffee, chocolate, and leather. Alright now onto the bands of this cigar since 90% of this cigar is covered in bands. We’ll start off with the foil footer which is covering the bottom of the ciga. Then you see the small El Chiquito band and then you see the main JFR Lunatic band on top, these are both die-cut and embossed as well.
So that wraps it up for today’s unboxing of the JFR Lunatic. Let me know in the comments below if you’ve ever tried Lunatic cigar and check back next week to see Kayla’s review on the Lunatic.
