Hi I’m Nada with SmokingCigarGirl and today I’m going to be reviewing the My Father Cigar: La Reloba Seleccion Habano. This cigar is a robusto 5×50, which has an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and binder and filler from Nicaragua. The cigar has a very smooth looking wrapper with no visible veins or soft spots but a little bit of mottling. The foot of the cigar has a very earthy aroma and there’s a lot of earth and a little bit of cocoa on the cold draw.
There’s a little bit of black pepper on the front of the palate and mostly woodsy notes on the finish of the first few puffs.
The First Third of La Reloba Seleccion Habano
The first third of this cigar has had some light cedary notes on the front of the palate and a long finish, which starts off with some woodsy notes and then turns into a black pepper as the finish fades. The cigar so far has had an excellent burn. It’s mostly even, with no issues, and has an excellent draw as well and is producing a lot of smoke.
The Second Third of La Reloba Seleccion Habano
The second third of this cigar has had mostly earthy flavors on the front of the palate and the finish has had a slightly bitter almond flavor. The cigar is continuing to draw and burn very well.
The Final Third of La Reloba Seleccion Habano
The final third of this La Reloba Seleccion Habano has had mostly earthy flavors on the front of the palate and black pepper on the finish. This cigar throughout the entire smoke has had an excellent draw and an excellent burn and as you can see, it holds a nice ash on the cigar.
Conclusion of the La Reloba Seleccion Habano
This cigar is medium-bodied but a mild to medium strength cigar, so a good afternoon or first smoke of the evening.
