If Florida does lose to UConn or the winner between UK and Wisconsin, then the drawing opens back up to anyone that entered into the contest. Obviously two of my readers will be pulling for Florida to win the whole thing, and the rest of you should be pulling for Florida to lose either game for a chance at the Man of War Humidor.
I don’t even know why I am going to go out on a limb and tell you my winner prediction between these four teams. I mean I predicted only one of them would be here at the start. What do you think about what Coach Calipari did with that young freshman team at Kentucky? If they did not make at least the finals in the SEC tournament, I am not sure they would have even been picked to be an at large team. They had to be one of the last teams selected by the committee. I know they are talented, but by the end of the season, they were not even ranked in the top 25. Not even die hard KU fans could see them making this kind of run to the Final Four.
Now for the favorite team from the beginning – Florida who has not lost a game since 2013! Billy Donovan has assembled a team that almost looks unbeatable. Although, Florida would have picked any other 3 teams in the country to make it besides these 3.
Wisconsin and UConn account for Florida’s only 2 losses this season, and they have already beaten Kentucky 3 times. Do you know how difficult it is to beat someone 4 times in a season, much less a team with the talent level of the Wildcats?
With all that being said, I predict that Kentucky will beat Wisconsin and Florida will beat UConn. I predict that the Wildcats will get revenge on their conference foes, giving Kentucky its 9th National Championship in school history. Thank you for reading my NCAA Final Four preview. Good luck to our final 2 contenders and to the rest of you rooting against Florida!
