I assume everyone wanted to burn their bracket on Monday. This tournment is known to have a surprise or two, but I cannot remember it ever being this crazy. ESPN announced the other day that in their bracket contest with over a million entries, no one has a prefect bracket.
The Final Four contest had more then 40 entries for the humidor, and after the first weekend there are 12 people still in the running. I guess my predictions were as good as everyone else’s. Two of my Final Four are gone, with Miami and Louisville left. Flordia Gulf Coast and La Salle in the sweet 16, really? Havard beating New Mexico in something other then an academic contest? If there was anyone who correctecly predicted the West region of the tournment this year, they have some sort of physic ablities.
I think Michian St, Michigan, Louisville, Miami, Syarcuse, and as much as it pains me to say it Florida, all look solid so far. This is still anyones tournment to win and any of the sixteen teams left can make the Final Four.
All our focus has been on the NCAA tournment but Major League baseball season starts on Sunday, and I promised I would give my MLB season predictions. Now all of you know my love of the Rays, so I am not even going to lie, this will be extremly prejudice in there favor. You will notice no the Yankees and Red Sox are no where to be found.
