The Blood Red Moon Culebra Cigar (6.5″ x 54)
Hi I’m Stephanie with CheapHumidors.com and today we’re back with another unboxing, today’s unboxing is the Blood Red Moon Culebra Cigar. Now Blood Red Moon is a line from Cult Cigars, they do so many different variations of their Blood Red Moon line and the Culebra cigar kind of brings them all together, no pun intended.
So on the top of the box you see the Blood Red Moon artwork and logo that wraps around to the side, then you have this lovely window in front showing you the Culebra cigar. On the back you have a picture of what the Culebra is going to look like when you take it out of the box. Then on the other side they give you a brief history rundown all about the Culebra and kind of how it came to be. Now fun fact about the name Culebra, it’s Spanish meaning “snake” so if you know anything about snakes and how they make other snakes you’ll know exactly why this cigar is shaped and named for its shape.
So let’s take it out, and right away you can see the Maduro, the Habano, and the Connecticut. Lovely cigars all bundled together. The biggest question with Culebra cigars is “Can I smoke them as is or should I separate them?” I’ve seen both done, so it’s really up to your preference. You can take them apart, you are not going to have a straight cigar so I can’t really promise that the burn is going to be straight or you could be a rebel and smoke them all in one sitting tied together. Now there is not much info on the binder and filler but since the Blood Red Moon line hails from Nicaragua, I’m going to just guess that they are using Nicaraguan tobaccos as the binder and filler. These cigars are 6.5 inches long and they have a pretty close to 54 ring gauge.
So that wraps it up for Blood Red Moon Culebra cigar by Cult. Let us know in the comments below if you’ve ever tried a Culebra cigar or if you plan on trying one. Definitely let us know how you plan to smoke it, individually or all one bundle.
