BMC Anniversary Construction:
BMC Anniversary: The focal point of this hefty cigar is its unique dual wrapper; a spicy Nicaraguan-grown Habano leaf up top and a creamy Connecticut leaf on bottom. Both wrappers blend seamlessly into each other creating a different but unified couple. The length of the cigar is chock full of Nicaraguan long-filler making this a rather heavy cigar. The cap is thick but unevenly mounted.
Flavor & Cold Draw:
The wrappers give off the thick scent of alfalfa while the foot lends a gentle chocolaty sweetness. The cold draw is overly tight but gives off a strong pepper flavor with a tangy citrus finish. Once lit, the initial flavor is intense crushed peppercorn. The pepper mellows in the second third and is joined by a hint of salt and barley which continue to the end.
Burn & Smoking Characteristics:
The draw is a bit too tight but still produces ample smoke. The burn is slow and even giving way to a long, compact ash.
